Kaplan’s displayed SIE Essential package is $149. It includes a license exam manual, SecuritiesPro QBank, a performance tracker, checkpoint and midterm exams, a study plan, and a practice exam. The access period is five months; Kaplan lists an additional five-month extension at $49.

Kaplan is a logical fit for someone who wants a conventional chapter sequence backed by a configurable question bank and progress checkpoints. The main buying constraint is the shorter initial access window: if your exam timeline is uncertain, include the possible extension cost when comparing it with 12-month products.
