Privacy Policy

This policy describes what Every Exam Prepcollects, why, and who else handles it. It is written against what the site's code actually does rather than from a template, and it is updated when the code changes.
The short version
- Reading the site needs no account. Study guides, practice questions, flashcards and cheat sheets are free and open.
- We run no advertising trackers. The site carried Google AdSense until 15 September 2026; that was removed and no ad network is loaded on any page.
- Affiliate clicks are logged with a hashed IP address, never a raw one. The address and browser string are put through SHA-256 with a secret salt before they are written, so the stored row cannot be turned back into an address.
- AI tutor conversations are not stored. We record that a session happened, which exam it was about and how many credits it used. The messages themselves are not written to our database.
What we collect, and when
Standard web-server records plus two analytics services: Google Analytics 4 and Attrifast. These report pages viewed, rough location, device and where you arrived from.
To see which study material people actually reach and which pages fail them.
Your email address and the account identifier our sign-in provider issues.
To sign you in and attach your credits and practice history.
Which exam, which question, the option you chose, and whether it was right.
To show your score and which topics need work.
That a session took place, which exam it was about, and the credits it used. Your messages are sent to the model that answers them and are not written to our database.
To meter credits. The conversation is yours, not a dataset.
The Stripe checkout identifier, the amount, and the resulting balance entry.
To credit the purchase and reconcile it. Card details stay with Stripe.
The address, which form it came from, and the exam it related to if it was an exam-specific download.
To send the material you asked for and site updates.
Which offer, which page type and exam, the referring page, and a SHA-256 hash of your IP address and browser string — never the address itself.
To tell which recommendations are useful and to be paid correctly. Known crawlers are excluded.
Who else processes it
We use these services to run the site. Each receives only what its job requires, and each publishes its own privacy terms.
Payment details
Card numbers never reach our servers. Checkout happens on Stripe, and what comes back to us is a session identifier, the amount, and whether it succeeded. We store that identifier against your credit balance so a purchase can be reconciled and never applied twice.
If you give us an email address, we store it with a note of which form it came from and, for an exam-specific download, which exam. We use it to send study material and site updates. Every message carries an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you by writing to contact@everyexamprep.com. We do not sell or rent email addresses.
Cookies
Browsing the site signed out sets no cookie from us. Signing in sets a session cookie through Clerk, which is what keeps you signed in. Google Analytics sets its own measurement cookies; it is configured with IP anonymisation on. Blocking cookies does not stop you reading anything on the site — only signing in.
How long we keep it
Account records, credit history and practice history last as long as your account does; ask us to delete the account and they go with it. Hashed affiliate-click rows and analytics are kept in aggregate for business reporting and are not tied to an account. Email addresses stay until you unsubscribe.
Your choices
Write to contact@everyexamprep.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or take it elsewhere. Say which email address the account uses. We answer these ourselves; there is no ticketing system to get past.
Children
The site is built for people preparing for professional and licensing exams and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information; tell us if you believe we have, and we will remove it.
Changes
When a data flow changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. Related reading: our affiliate disclosure and terms of use.
