What Is Pocket Listing?
A property listing that is not yet entered into the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) and is known only to the listing broker and their agents. These listings allow for privacy and controlled showing of exclusive properties before public marketing.

Pocket Listing appears on the following exams. Each defines it in the context candidates are tested on:
- TX Broker
- A property listing that is not yet entered into the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) and is known only to the listing broker and their agents. These listings allow for privacy and controlled showing of exclusive properties before public marketing.
- CA Broker
- A property sold without being listed on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). While brokers may show pocket listings to qualified buyers, they must comply with MLS rules and disclose the listing status to ensure fair market exposure.
