- CBCS (NHA)
- The number of days surrounding a surgical procedure during which pre-operative, post-operative, and related care are considered included in the surgical fee. Global periods vary by procedure and are defined by Medicare and other payers.
- CPC
- The set number of days following a surgical procedure during which related follow-up care is included in the original procedure's payment and cannot be billed separately.
